Departure: from Bressanone / Brixen, follow the signs for Sant Andrea in Monte and then Afers . From here, continue to the village of San Giorgio / Sankt Georg, continuing to Palmschoss and facilities for the winter tourist resort Skihütte (1900 m) which is the starting point of the excursion. Arrival: Scharzerhutte (1984 m) with a place to eat. Because of too much snow we could not reach the Enzianhütte (1967 m) and Halslhutte (1860 m, about 2 hours by car).
Total Time: 2 ½ hours (the full circle, going for the other huts, is 3 ½ hours)
