Tour: ... why waste an entire Sunday to close when we all (or almost) Austria have? We have set ourselves this question when we decided to visit EuroAntik, the antiques fair held in Innsbruck. So on Sunday afternoon, after spending the morning to run through the stalls of the fair without making any purchase, we found ourselves walking in the snow in a breathtaking place. We must say that, despite the reduced visibility due to bad weather, the scenery and especially the Stockl Alm (located 1 ½ hours by car) was really charming. After Paul ordered dining in perfect German, his father Frank (who we can say that speaks a little German macaroni) has entered into a long conversation with the manager of the pasture (which does not speak Italian) ... I still have not figured out how they did understand each other! Anyway, lunch was excellent: the appetizer of smoked bacon, plate gulashsuppe Paul, my dumplings in broth rosti in the pan, the dish of the super dad with dumplings, sauerkraut and meat and the cake was good to lick mustache. Even the return was unforgettable ... when we were about 100 meters below the hut, the operator sounded the horn to greet us and we responded quite a 'good!' screamed my lungs! To finish the day in we stopped at Matrei, the pastry Wagner where I recommend the delicious banana cake!
