Departure: From Merano / Meran continue following the signs for Val Senales / Schnals. Past the turning for the village of Santa Caterina, turn right to Val di Fosse / Pfossental until you get to the Outside Hut / Vorderkaser (1693 m), the starting point of the excursion.
Arrival: Casera Middle / Mitterkaser Alm (1954 m), Maso Rableid / Rableid Alm (2004 m) and Maso Gelato / Eishof (2076 m) all with refreshment area. Dal Maso ice in about 2 hours to get to the Refuge Petrarca / Stettinerhutte (2875 m) but as you see in the picture is so much snow and it is better to wait a while '.
